Yii Hui Wong is a senior portfolio manager in the Asian Fixed Income team at Nikko Asset Management based in Singapore. She covers Asian local currency bond strategy with a focus on China. The funds she manages and co-manages include mandates like Asia local currency bonds, RMB onshore and offshore local currency funds.
Ms Wong has 15 years of experience in the financial industry, predominantly in the Asian fixed income and local currency bond space with particular focus on China. She was most recently with UBS Asset Management Singapore Limited managing portfolios. Earlier between 2012 and 2015, she was with BNP Paribas SA (Singapore) as a fixed income and FX senior strategist, also responsible for Asian fixed income and local currency strategies focusing on China. Ms Wong started her career with the Monetary Authority of Singapore where she had roles in both the regulatory and reserve management departments.
Ms Wong holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) with majors in Finance and Accounting from The University of Melbourne, Australia, and a Master of Science (Financial Engineering) from the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) of Singapore. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder.
