Kevin Sheekey is Chairman of External Relations overseeing Marketing, Communications, Government Relations and Philanthropy at Bloomberg LP, and focuses on expanding Bloomberg's global presence.
Mr. Sheekey returned to Bloomberg LP in April 2010 after serving as Deputy Mayor for Government Affairs in New York City since 2006.In his role at City Hall, Mr. Sheekey oversaw Local, State and Federal government relations. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Sheekey was Campaign Manager for Mayor Bloomberg's re-election campaign in 2005. From 2003 to 2004, Mr. Sheekey was President of the New York City Host Committee for the 2004 Republican National Convention. Mr. Sheekey first joined City Hall as Senior Advisor to the Mayor after running the Bloomberg for Mayor Campaign in 2001. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sheekey served as Chief of Staff to Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
