Marketing Programme for Mainland TV Broadcast Service

(Updated 1 May 2024)

Purpose

HKEX-IS (China) introduced the Marketing Programme for Mainland TV Broadcast Service (“the Mainland TV Programme”) effective 1 May 2024 (duration subject to regular review) with an aim to further promote the visibility and penetration of real-time Hong Kong securities market data in Mainland China. 

Programme Details

Programme Duration

From 1 May 2024 - 30 April 2025
Eligibility TV broadcast service providers for non-interactive on-screen dissemination of running tickers of real-time securities market data offered within Mainland China only (excluding Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions).  
Data Content

Nominal price/last trade price, previous close, day high/low, trading volume and turnover value

 

Pre-programmed transmission of securities prices of no more than 150 securities at any one time, in the form of a “play-list” of screen that shall have a scrolling time of not less than 90 seconds for each cycle.
Fixed Subscriber Fee 
  • HK$50,000 per month 
  • Monthly reporting on total number of subscribers/ viewers is required
Three-month Free Trial

Redistribution Fee and the Fixed Subscriber Fee under the Mainland TV Programme for new market data vendor licensees will be waived for the first three calendar months
