Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Steering Group (CASG)

• Established in May 2020, CASG is co-chaired by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and the Securities and Futures Commission. Members include the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, Financial Services and Treasury Bureau, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Insurance Authority and the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority. CASG aims to coordinate the management of climate and environmental risks to the financial sector, accelerate the growth of green and sustainable finance in Hong Kong and support the Government’s climate strategies.

Green Council

• A non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt charitable environmental stewardship organisation and certification body of Hong Kong established in 2000 managing the Hong Kong Green Label Scheme and the Green Council Certification Scheme

Hong Kong Green Finance Association

• A platform aimed to gather industry experts and provide policy suggestions to the Hong Kong Government and other regulators in developing green finance in Hong Kong

The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact

• A principle-based framework for businesses in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption

United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment

• An independent organisation supported by United Nations supporting responsible investment, which incorporates ESG factors in investment decisions

World Business Council for Sustainable Development

• A global and CEO-led organization of over 200 leading businesses working in collaboration to realise sustainable development goals
