Amendments to the GEM Listing Rules


We have amended the GEM Listing Rules to implement arrangements for securities and derivatives trading under severe weather conditions. These amendments are consequential amendments that reflect HKEX’s conclusions, published on 18 June 2024, to the “Consultation Paper on Severe Weather Trading of Hong Kong Securities and Derivatives Markets” after considering market responses received to that consultation.

Coming into effect

The amendments will come into effect on 23 September 2024.
