ESS Hotline

The ESS hotline number is: +852 2840 3460. To assist us in improving our service to you, telephone calls may be recorded. If this is a concern, you should establish whether the call is being recorded at the start of the relevant call.

The hotline has the same operating hours as the ESS operation hour, that is:

• 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (business days only); and
• 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. on any non-business day immediately preceding a business day.

We would ask that if you have an enquiry, you should first consult this ESS FAQs to ascertain whether the answer you require is contained here. If you cannot find an answer, you should also refer to the video tutorials, Interactive Learning Program or quick reference guide and user manuals for assistance.

If all hotline operators are busy, your call will be diverted to voicemail. Please leave your contact information, we will reply to all voicemail messages and email as soon as possible.

No. The ESS hotline provides support on matters relating to ESS only. It does not provide support on matters arising from computer problems which an issuer may experience. The issuer will need to make its own arrangement in this regard.
