You can use the “Forgot User Password” function on the ESS login page. Follow the instructions and ESS will send an email to your registered email address for resetting password.
If you have entered an incorrect User Password and/or One-time Passcode for 5 consecutive times, your user account will be locked. You should contact your ESS Security Officer. Instructions on how to unlock the account can be found in the
User Manual for Authorised Person, Administrator, Security Officer and DI Users.
In case your Security Officer’s user account has been locked, you can send an email request to
esshotline@hkex.com.hk. Please note that the email must be sent from Security Officer’s registered email address. Please also quote your stock code/company code and company name in your email request for identification purpose.
