Dear Sirs,
Amendments to the GEM Listing Rules in
connection with the Requirements relating to languages of prospectuses
We enclose reprinted pages of the Listing Rules
incorporating amendments to the requirements for dual language listing documents of new
applicants under the GEM Listing Rules, together with filing instructions.
The Exchange has amended the requirements for dual language listing documents of new applicants
under the GEM Listing Rules in Chapter 14, 29 and 30. As a result, the English and Chinese
language versions of the listing document of a new applicant may be distributed separately
from each other provided that both are available at each place where, and for so long as,
the distribution of such documents takes place.
The rule changes will come into effect on 22nd September, 2000.
