Mr Chan is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Before joining the Government, Mr Chan held a number of public service positions including member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council.

Mr Chan served as Secretary for Development from July 2012 to January 2017. He has been Financial Secretary since 2017.

Mr Chan is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Before joining the Government, Mr Chan held a number of public service positions including member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council.

Chief Executive Officer , HKEX

Nicolas Aguzin joined HKEX as Chief Executive Officer on 24 May 2021 from J.P. Morgan, where he was most recently Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan’s International Private Bank. Mr Aguzin has been based in Hong Kong since 2012.

From 2013 to 2020, Mr Aguzin was CEO, J.P. Morgan, Asia Pacific where he was responsible for all the firm’s business across 17 markets. Mr Aguzin presided over some of the firm’s major expansion efforts during the period, including establishing itself in China as one of the few international financial institutions with a full range of services and capabilities; including a fully-owned locally incorporated commercial bank, a majority-owned securities company, an asset management company and a futures and options company. Concurrent with his Asia CEO role, Mr Aguzin also ran J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking division in Asia. During his tenure the bank rose to become one of the leading investment banks in the Asia Pacific region.

Mr Aguzin joined J.P. Morgan in 1990 in Buenos Aires as a financial analyst. Between 1990 and 2005, he held a variety of roles in New York and Buenos Aires, and in 2005 he was appointed as CEO, Latin America. In 2008 and 2009, in addition to his responsibilities as CEO, Latin America and Head of Latin America Investment Banking, he served as Senior Country Officer for Brazil.

Mr Aguzin holds a bachelor degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in the US and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.

Executive Director (Charities and Community), The Hong Kong Jockey Club

One of Asia’s most respected higher education, health and philanthropic leaders, Gabriel Leung is known for his commitment to improving human capabilities, nurturing impactful innovation and building strong institutions. He is the Executive Director (Charities and Community) of The Hong Kong Jockey Club overseeing its Charities Trust.

Gabriel’s career has straddled academe, public service and philanthropy. From 2013 to 2022, he was the longest-serving Dean of Medicine and inaugural Helen and Francis Zimmern Professor in Population Health at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Formerly, he was Hong Kong's first Under Secretary for Food and Health and fifth Director of the Chief Executive's Office in government.

Karen Cheung is currently the Trustee and Chief Strategist of The D. H. Chen Foundation, a family philanthropic trust established in 1970 by Dr Din Hwa Chen, her late grandfather and the founder of the Nan Fung Group. The Foundation has been putting compassion into action through steering and supporting numerous innovative, impactful and sustainable community initiatives to realise Dr Chen's philosophy – "Care for others as well as you would care for yourself".

Dedicated to serving the Hong Kong community, Ms Cheung is a Board Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities Hong Kong and Centre of Heritage, Arts and Textile. She is also a member of Governing Committee of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. In 2021 and 2022, she was appointed Honorary Fellow of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong respectively, in recognition of her significant contributions to the community.

Prior to joining The Private Bank, Jean Sung was Head of Global Philanthropy for J.P. Morgan Chase in Asia Pacific (2006 to 2013), managing the firm’s corporate giving in 13 Asian countries. In this role, Ms Sung developed and implemented programs and services designed to improve livelihoods and skills at work, with a focus on economic and workforce development, financial empowerment, as well as education, health and disaster relief with non-profits and multi-lateral partners. She also developed and initiated country-specific needs assessments, including KPIs, budgets and timelines in response to uplift social needs.

Jean was responsible for setting up J.P. Morgan Private Bank’s Philanthropy Centre in Asia and works with clients and their families to articulate their philanthropic vision, strategy and goals to bring purposes to their giving. In addition, Jean analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of giving models and structures. Jean brings experts and thought leaders together, explores trends and addresses pressing social issues on an ongoing basis to help philanthropists hear from peer groups and leverage actionable giving programs. Jean is recognised for her ability to identify social gaps and her wealth of cross-sector and multi-lateral networks helps build collaborative and like-minded alliances between the private and social sectors.

Jean also serves as Board Governor and Executive Committee Member of Bai Xian Asia Institute; Executive Member of Sustainability Committee, Link REIT; Executive Committee Member of Outward Bound (HKG), and Member of the McCain Global Leaders Advisory Council.

Vice Chairman of the Admissions, Budgets and Allocations Committee , The Community Chest of Hong Kong

Stephen Wong received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago and Master of Arts in East Asian Studies from Yale University. He completed his Doctorate degree in Public Administration (DPA) from the University of Hong Kong.

He began his career as an investment banker and held regional management positions with several global financial institutions, including as Executive Director at UBS in London and Managing Director at RBS.

Dr Wong is now Senior Vice President & Executive Director of Public Policy Institute of Our Hong Kong Foundation. He is also a member of the Legislative Council.

Terence was aware that Hong Kong sends more food waste to landfill than any other category of wastes which takes up precious land resources, he decided to pursue his social entrepreneurship journey and founded GreenPrice shops around Hong Kong in 2016. It is the first in Asia to sell short-dated branded food and cosmetics at deep discounts, and now diverts more than 2.5 million products from landfill each year.

Terence Hon is the Co-Founder of GreenPrice. He is also the Principal Consultant and Executive Director of Education for Good, the first Certified B Corp in Hong Kong, and the first training and consulting firm dedicated to nurture social innovation and social entrepreneurship, that he firmly believes, are crucial to drive the movement of social businesses focusing on profit-purpose double bottom-line.

He graduated from the Social Work and Administration Department as a Bachelor and attained a Master in Business Administration, both from the University of Hong Kong. Most of his professional career was focused on advising businesses on product and service innovation in the Greater China region and globally. He is also an entrepreneur, helping to found and grow China’s first private marketing research organisation into one of the country’s biggest ones.

Since joining Culture Homes, Queenie has rebranded the Company and transformed how human care is designed with new initiatives such as senior community "Forward Living" and "The Living Gallery".

Combining her insights and experiences in both branding and elderly services, Queenie believes in connecting people through social design and meaningful experiences and creating shared value. In 2019, she established The Project Futurus hoping to transform the way people perceive aging through advocacy, education, and community service, while making aging relevant to the consumers of tomorrow through products, service and social innovation. Rebecca Choy Yung is the Founder & Chair of Golden Age Foundation; Founder & Vice-Chair of Education for Good; Co-Founder & Convener of Ednovators, Chair of Social Enterprise Summit, Co-Founder of Dream Impact Hong Kong and Co-Founder of B Lab (HK & Macau). She acts as Advisor and Executive Members of a number of NGOs and social enterprises, including Our Hong Kong Foundation, The Institute of Active Aging of Hong Kong Polytechnic University and more. She is also a writer and a radio programme host.

Rebecca is a business entrepreneur turned social entrepreneur. She was a pioneer of the convention and exhibition industry in Hong Kong and China. Since the early 1980s, she successfully founded, branded and organised over a dozen world- renowned international trade fairs and conventions, covering a wide spread of industries such as jewelry, furniture and lighting, leather goods, education and others.

Since changing her career path from business over a decade ago, Rebecca has devoted her full effort to promoting social innovation and social entrepreneurship in Hong Kong and Greater China, especially in orchestrating movements with social missions to bring about positive change, including golden age, business innovation and education innovation.

Rebecca received her B.SoSc. from Bristol University (UK) and EMBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The HKCSS provides a joint platform for cross-sectoral collaboration and social innovation, and has championed gerontechnology and transitional social housing in recent years.

Mr Chua has participated in a number of advisory or statutory bodies of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. He is currently a member of the Advisory Committee on Mental Health, the Elderly Commission, and the Steering Committee on Primary Healthcare Development.

Mr Chua is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong in Mechanical Engineering. He studied Master of Social Work at University of Illinois at Chicago and is now a social worker by profession. He was the President of the Hong Kong Social Workers Association (2004 – 2008).

Ada Wong is currently the Executive Chair of Good Lab. She has also led a varied career as solicitor, creative educator and social innovator. She has set up and run non-profit institutions in the education, culture, creativity and social innovation fields in the past 20 years.

In 2012, Ada founded The Good Lab, a social innovation co-working space and hub, which later became a do tank and innovation consultancy. She is keen to build bridges to enable tri-sector collaborations and co-creation of innovative solutions. She steered a recent research on Business for Good: Understanding the Motivations of Business to Create Shared Value.

Prior to that, Ada founded Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture (HKICC) to advocate education innovation in 1998. Since 2006, HKICC founded the HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, a unique secondary school dedicated to nurturing talents for arts and culture, and Ada is the school's Supervisor.

In 2010, Ada co-founded the Make A Difference (MaD) initiative, a creativity for good platform for young changemakers in Asia. In the last 12 years, MaD has undertaken projects at the intersection of creativity and urban/social challenges, incubated social startups, and has worked with cross sector changemakers to come up with bottom-up creative and collaborative solutions.

Associate Professor (Teaching), Business School, The University of Hong Kong

David Bishop is an Associate Professor (Teaching) at The University of Hong Kong’s Business School and Fudan University, Shanghai. An award-winning educator, Mr Bishop’s teaching focuses on a wide range of legal and ethics related matters. He has consulted major companies concerning ethics, CSR, pro bono representation, and various compliance and governance matters.

Mr Bishop also founded Impact Lab, one of the largest experiential business programs in Asia, empowering over 1,100 students from more than 100 universities around the world. Vice-chairperson, Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund

Alvin Miu is a founding taskforce member for the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund) and is currently serving as its vice-chairperson and a member of the Hong Kong Government’s Commission on Poverty.  Alvin is a co-founder of SEPD, an NGO that promotes and supports employment of people with disabilities.  Alvin’s journey with the social sector started 20 years ago with his involvement with the Social Welfare Department’s 3E Project (Enhancing Employment of People with Disabilities through Small Enterprise) which provides seed capital grants to social enterprise startups.  He was also a committee member on the Home Affairs Department’s ESR Program (Enhancing Self-Reliance through District Partnerships), which provides capital grants to social enterprise startups.  He takes a keen interest in promoting social innovation and social ventures, and is especially keen in promoting the use of gerontechnology in Hong Kong.

Being a certified public accountant and an accredited social value practitioner and SROI trainer, Terence has close to three decades of experience in areas including accounting and audit, impact measurement and management, policy and programme evaluation, philanthropy and non-profit management, and impact investing and social entrepreneurship.

Terence founded the Hong Kong Institute of Social Impact Analysts (HKI-SIA) in 2013 and has been serving as its Executive Director ever since. She has established her reputation well in the telecommunications industry in Hong Kong, having led the strategic development of fixed and mobile services which included the world’s first commercial launch of 4G mobile service and applications. In 2012, Ms Leung devote herself into the social service sector by joining the Senior Citizen Home Safety Association, a social enterprise and charitable organisation in Hong Kong, as Chief Executive Officer. During her service and leadership, she promoted the application of technology to improve the quality of life of underprivileged groups, which has brought about a major transformation for the Association and it was being recognised as a role model of social innovations in the NGO sector in Hong Kong. In 2018, Ms Leung was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of i-CABLE Group and was responsible for the full portfolio of business that includes on the media side the renowned Cable News and over 100 channels, partnership networks in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and on the telecommunications side a territory-wide fixed network that covers over 90% of Hong Kong households.

With her passion in leveraging technology for social good, Ms Leung has led CSR projects that involved the creative use of ICT, winning various local and international awards. She has been awarded ‘Hong Kong Outstanding ICT Woman’ by Hong Kong Computer Society in 2015. Ms Leung is currently a Board member of Hong Kong Education City Limited, member of the Advisory Committee of the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged of Labour and Welfare Department, member of The Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Task Force under the Commission on Poverty, and an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation.
