If a Typhoon Signal or Black Rainstorm Warning has been issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, please refer to news reports through the electronic news media or messages disseminated through HKEX's market systems on the current signal/ warning’s impact on trading.
The Hong Kong Government may also issue an announcement on Extreme Conditions in the event of, for example, serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage or any other adverse conditions before Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is replaced with Typhoon Signal No. 3 or below. When Extreme Conditions are in force (i.e. the two-hour period after cancellation of Typhoon Signal No. 8), the Government will review the situation and further advise the public by the end of the two-hour period whether Extreme Conditions will be extended or cancelled.

Note: Stock Connect Northbound trading will be terminated 15 minutes following the issuance of Typhoon Signal No. 8.
